Founded by a former UN midwife who spent 20 years delivering babies in Gaza — and who watched too many of them become orphans. This is why we exist.
Every child in Gaza
deserves a future.
Right now, as you read these words, a child in Gaza is waking up alone. Since October 2023, thousands of children have lost their parents to an ongoing war — and with them, the safety, love, and stability that every childhood requires. We exist to make sure those children are not forgotten. Through sponsorship, direct aid, and trusted local partnerships, we act as a bridge between the people of Europe who want to help and the children in Gaza who need it most.
What We Stand For
Full Transparency
Every euro is traceable. As a registered Belgian VZW (BCE 1004.572.679), we publish our accounts and ensure 100% of donated funds reach the children — no administrative overhead taken from donations.
Direct Impact
We don't route aid through distant headquarters. Our network of trusted local partners inside Gaza means that support arrives fast, reaches the right families, and is verified on the ground.
Community Rooted
Our founder spent 20 years living and working inside Gaza. The relationships, language, and trust we operate with aren't assumed — they were built over two decades of being present.

Founded in Response to Crisis
As Israel's assault on Gaza intensified, our founder — a former UN midwife with 20 years on the ground — could not stand by. BSGC was established in Belgium to channel European solidarity into direct, verifiable action for orphaned children.
First Orphan Sponsorships
Within weeks of founding, we connected the first Belgian families with orphaned children in Gaza — creating a direct bond of care that no conflict could break. Each sponsorship came with a name, a photo, and a story.
Local Partner Network Built
We formalised relationships with trusted associations and orphanages operating inside Gaza. These aren't cold contracts — they're partnerships built on personal trust developed over two decades.
1,000+ Children Reached
Through sponsorships, emergency food packages, and medical support, we passed 1,000 children directly assisted. Every single one has a name, a face, and a future we are committed to protecting.
Officially Registered Belgian NGO
BSGC was formally registered as a Belgian non-profit (VZW) under BCE 1004.572.679 — bringing full legal transparency, public accountability, and institutional trust to our work.
Emergency Aid Programmes Launched
As conditions in Gaza continued to deteriorate, we launched emergency food and medical aid reaching thousands of additional families — all delivered through our verified local partner network.
